The IC's are complete so it's time to go over the day, starting in the early portion of the day. The first play of the day looks to be Mr. Baffert in the third race with the first time starter out of El Corredor for Mike Pegram, owner of previous Kentucky Derby winner Silver Charm. I also like IC1 in race 5, Fusa Code, trained by Steve Asmussen. He had a very nice run back in November of 2010 here at Churchill Downs. He drops out of the G3 Sunland Derby into a nice spot. Then the day begins to get a little tricky. The multi race investments in race 6 starts with a toughie, but if one played a few in the first leg, singled IC1 Hilda's Passion in the 7th, to the IC's in race 8, you've got a nice chance at a decent payout. The G2 CD looks tough, as does the G1 Turf Classic. Tough to play these into the Derby. However, looking at it from a bit of a contrarian point of view, one could really spread those 2 legs and make a stand in the Derby with Midnight Interlude at a price. One could also spread out both the G1 Turf Classic, the G1 Kentucky Derby, and make a stand on IC1 in the 12th. There are many possibilities. I am mainly focusing on the Derby, and will follow these thoughts with my patented "Trifecta Billy" 50 cent trifecta tickets!

What a day for the system so far today...IC1 wins the second, third and fourth races paying $7.80 then $3.80 then $5.40 as IC2 gets race five at 10-1 paying $22.60. The IC's have been lighting up the board so far with an IC1-IC2 exacta in the second, an IC1-IC3 exacta in the third and the IC2-IC1 exacta in the fifth that paid $76.50 on a $1 exacta box.
