Races 6 through 9
4-8-11 with 3-5-10 with 2-4-6 with 2-7-9 = $40.50 investment total
This is an all IC system Pick 4 for the late pick 4 at Santa Anita.
I will list these selections in a more detailed post, as they have reached the starting gate.
It looks like a tough sequence, but lets see if the IC system can nail it!
The first leg is complete and it was won by IC2, #4 Vionnet who was trained by Mike Puype, and ridden by his main man Garrett Gomez. 1 down 3 to go. Interestingly enough, this was a filly trained by Mike Puype. We highlighted his work with fillies in our 2nd book, Del Mar 2011 Jockeys and Trainers.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's a game of inches. The second leg of the Pick 4 was won by IC2, #5 Hurricane Lake who was trained by Victor Garcia and ridden by Jockey Alonso Quinonez. At very nice odds of 7-1 this could help to make the Pick 4 pay very nicely. 2 down 2 to go.
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd leg is in the books, and it was won by IC1, #4 Caracortado, which is spanish for scarface. He was ridden by Raphael Bejarano, and trained by Mike Machowsky. He was the 3rd favorite in a small field of 4, which will help the Pick 4 payout. I love this as well, because he is DailyDub's favorite horse in training, as Zenyatta has now retired. What a great ride by Mr. Bejarano. Caracortado was absolutely flying late.
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished. The IC system nailed the late Pick 4, as IC1, #9 Twelve Folds ridden by Martin Pedroza and trained by Michael Machowsky win the 9th race in a laugher by about 8 lengths. The sequence went IC2,IC2,IC1,IC1 and paid $144.80 for a net profit of $104.30.
